Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 salmon fillets
  • 2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • Lemon wedges for serving

Instructions

  1. Preheat a skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. Pat the salmon fillets dry and season both sides with Cajun seasoning.
  3. Add olive oil and butter to the skillet.
  4. Once the butter is melted and bubbling, add the seasoned salmon fillets.
  5. Cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until the salmon is cooked through and has a nice blackened crust.

Notes

For best results, let the salmon marinate in the seasoning for about 15 minutes before cooking. Use a fish spatula to gently flip the salmon to maintain its integrity.
