A creamy and flavorful pasta dish with tender chicken, sun-dried tomatoes, and fresh basil, perfect for weeknight dinners or impressing guests.

Ingredients

  • 2 chicken breasts
  • 1 cup pasta (e.g., fettuccine or penne)
  • 1 cup sun-dried tomatoes (in oil, drained)
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 2 cloves garlic (minced)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh basil for garnish
  • Olive oil

Instructions

  1. Cook the pasta according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the chicken breasts and season with salt and pepper. Cook until golden brown and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes per side. Remove from the skillet and slice.
  3. Add minced garlic and sun-dried tomatoes to the same skillet. Sauté for about 1-2 minutes.
  4. Pour in heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Stir in parmesan cheese until melted and the sauce is creamy.
  5. Combine the cooked pasta and sliced chicken with the sauce, tossing to coat everything.
