- 1 box Devils food cake mix (plus ingredients on box)
- 1 can sweetened condensed milk
- 3/4 cup caramel syrup
- 1 8 oz. tub cool whip, thawed
- 2–3 Heath candy bars, crushed
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350 degrees and lightly grease a 9×13 inch cake pan.
- Prepare the cake mix as directed on the package and pour it into the pan.
- Bake according to package instructions until cooked through.
- Remove the cake from the oven and let it cool completely.
- Using the back of a wooden spoon, poke holes across the surface of the cake, being careful not to poke through the bottom.
- Evenly pour the sweetened condensed milk and caramel syrup over the cake, allowing it to seep into the holes.
Notes
For a richer flavor, consider replacing the caramel syrup with chocolate syrup. Chill the cake longer for improved flavor.
