A delightful dish of juicy beef steak bites combined with tender, flavorful potatoes seasoned with garlic and herbs, perfect for weeknight dinners or special occasions.

Ingredients

Scale
  • lbs sirloin steak, cut into bite-sized cubes
  • lbs baby potatoes, halved or quartered
  • 4 tablespoons olive oil, divided
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 56 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon dried Italian herbs
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped for garnish

Instructions

  1. Heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add the potatoes, then season with salt, pepper, and paprika. Cook until golden and fork-tender, about 15 minutes, stirring occasionally. Remove and set aside.
  3. Season the steak cubes with salt, pepper, and herbs.
  4. In the same pan, add 1 tablespoon of oil and 2 tablespoons of butter.
  5. Sear the steak in a single layer for 2–3 minutes per side until browned, being careful not to overcook.
  6. Reduce the heat to medium-low and add the remaining butter and garlic. Sauté until fragrant, about 1 minute.
  7. Return the potatoes to the pan and toss everything together. Heat through for 1–2 minutes.

Notes

For enhanced flavor, consider marinating the steak for a few hours before cooking. Pair with a green salad or steamed vegetables for a well-balanced meal.
