Ingredients
Scale
1 lb Ground beef
1 cup Breadcrumbs
1 medium Onion, chopped
3 cloves Garlic, minced
2 large Eggs
1/2 cup Milk
2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
1 tbsp Dijon mustard
1 cup Ketchup
1 tsp Salt
1/2 tsp Black pepper
1 tsp Smoked paprika
1/4 cup Fresh parsley, chopped
1/2 cup Ketchup (glaze)
1/4 cup Brown sugar
1 tbsp Dijon mustard (glaze)
1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce (glaze)
1 tbsp Apple cider vinegar
Instructions
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and prepare a loaf pan.
Sauté the chopped onion and minced garlic in a bit of oil over medium heat until soft, about 3-5 minutes.
Combine the ground beef, breadcrumbs, sautéed onion and garlic, eggs, milk, Worcestershire sauce, Dijon mustard, ketchup, salt, black pepper, smoked paprika, and fresh parsley in a large bowl. Mix until just combined.
Transfer the meat mixture to the prepared loaf pan, shaping it into a loaf.
Mix together the glaze ingredients: ketchup, brown sugar, Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, and apple cider vinegar in a separate bowl. Spread this glaze over the meatloaf.
Bake in the preheated oven for about 1 hour, or until the internal temperature reaches 160°F (71°C).
Notes
Rest the meatloaf for a few minutes after baking for easier slicing. Use lean ground beef for a healthier option.
