  • 1/4 cup Honey (or maple syrup)
  • 1/4 cup Low-Sodium Soy Sauce (tamari for gluten-free)
  • 1 tbsp Rice Vinegar (apple cider vinegar as a substitute)
  • 1 tsp Sesame Oil (optional)
  • Red Pepper Flakes (optional)
  • 2 stalks Green Onions (chopped)
  • 1 tbsp Neutral Oil (Canola or Avocado)

Instructions

  1. Heat the neutral oil in a pan over medium heat.
  2. Add minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds, until fragrant.
  3. Incorporate the ground turkey, stirring occasionally until fully cooked and browned, about 5-7 minutes.
  4. Mix honey, soy sauce, rice vinegar, and sesame oil in a small bowl.
  5. Pour the mixture into the pan, stirring to combine.
  6. Allow the sauce to simmer and thicken for 2-3 minutes, stirring occasionally.
