A sweet and tangy dish featuring tender chicken breasts glazed with honey mustard, perfect for dinner or entertaining guests.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1.5 pounds boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 teaspoon plus 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon dried parsley flakes
  • 1 teaspoon dried basil
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon minced garlic
  • ¼ cup chicken broth
  • 2 tablespoons honey mustard
  • 2 tablespoons honey

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Slice the chicken breasts in half lengthwise to create thin filets.
  3. Combine one teaspoon of olive oil with parsley, basil, salt, paprika, and minced garlic in a small bowl. Brush this mixture on both sides of each chicken breast.
  4. Heat one tablespoon of olive oil in an oven-safe pan over medium heat. Add the chicken breasts and sear both sides, about 3 minutes per side.
  5. Mix together the chicken broth, honey mustard, and honey in another small bowl. Pour this sauce over the chicken breasts.
  6. Place the pan in the preheated oven. Cook for 20 minutes, flipping the chicken halfway through. When done, turn on the broiler and broil the chicken for around 5 minutes, until browned.

Notes

Let the chicken cook fully before removing it from the oven for juiciness. Use fresh herbs for a more vibrant flavor.
