Delightful breakfast treat transforming classic French toast into easy-to-serve cups.

Ingredients

  • 1 loaf Brioche or Challah Bread
  • 4 large Eggs
  • 1 cup Whole Milk
  • 1/2 cup Sugar
  • 1 tablespoon Vanilla Extract
  • 1 teaspoon Cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon Nutmeg
  • 1/4 teaspoon Salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Whisk together the eggs, milk, sugar, vanilla extract, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt until well combined.
  3. Cube the bread and add it to the egg mixture, stirring gently to ensure all pieces are coated.
  4. Pour the mixture into a greased muffin tin or small baking dishes, filling each cup to about three-quarters full.
  5. Allow the bread to soak for about 10–15 minutes, letting it absorb the egg mixture.
  6. Bake for 25–30 minutes, or until the tops are golden and a toothpick inserted comes out clean.

Notes

Serve warm with maple syrup, powdered sugar, or fresh fruit compote.
