Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 bell pepper, diced
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar or provolone)
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Garlic powder, optional

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Brown ground beef in a skillet over medium heat until it reaches an internal temperature of 160°F; drain excess fat.
  3. Add the diced bell pepper and onion to the skillet with the beef and cook until the vegetables are tender.
  4. Stir in Worcestershire sauce, salt, pepper, and garlic powder until well combined.
  5. Transfer the mixture to a baking dish and top evenly with shredded cheese.
  6. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes until the cheese is melted and bubbly.

Notes

Choose a sweet red or orange bell pepper for a milder flavor. For the best melting results, use provolone cheese.
