Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound beef sirloin, thinly sliced
  • 8 ounces egg noodles (or other noodles of your choice)
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1 bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 cup broccoli florets
  • 1 medium carrot, julienned
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon oyster sauce (optional)
  • 1 teaspoon cornstarch mixed with 2 teaspoons water (for thickening)
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Green onions, sliced (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Gather all your ingredients beforehand.
  2. Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
  3. Add the sliced beef, seasoning with salt and pepper, and stir-fry until browned, about 3-4 minutes.
  4. Incorporate the broccoli, bell pepper, carrot, and garlic, continuing to stir-fry for another 2-3 minutes until the vegetables are tender-crisp.
  5. Mix the soy sauce and oyster sauce (if using) in a small bowl to create your stir-fry sauce.
  6. Pour the sauce into the skillet. Stir in the cornstarch mixture to thicken the sauce, cooking for another minute until well combined.
  7. Toss in the cooked noodles, mixing everything together until heated through.
