Delicious and satisfying steak bites sautéed with garlic and zucchini, perfect for a quick weeknight meal.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb beef steak (sirloin, ribeye, or New York strip), cut into 1-inch cubes
  • 1 medium zucchini, cut into half-moons
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • Optional: Fresh parsley, chopped, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Pat the steak bites dry and season them with salt and pepper.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  3. Add steak bites to the hot skillet in a single layer. Sear for 1-2 minutes per side until browned. Remove steak from skillet and set aside.
  4. Add butter to the same skillet. Once melted, add minced garlic and cook for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
  5. Add the zucchini to the skillet. Cook for 3-5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until tender-crisp.
  6. Return the steak bites to the skillet. Toss everything together to coat with the garlic butter. Cook for another 1-2 minutes until the steak is heated through.

Notes

For best results, consider marinating the steak before cooking and ensure that your skillet is properly preheated.
