A comforting and rich dish featuring tender chicken breasts enveloped in a smooth garlic cream sauce, perfect for either weeknight dinners or special gatherings.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 onion, minced
  • 8 cloves garlic, caramelized
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper, then cook them in the skillet for about 7-8 minutes per side, until golden brown and reach an internal temperature of 165°F. Remove from skillet and set aside.
  2. Add the minced onion to the same skillet and sauté until translucent.
  3. Incorporate the caramelized garlic and cook for another minute.
  4. Pour in the chicken broth and bring to a simmer. Reduce heat and stir in the heavy cream.
  5. Return the chicken to the skillet and simmer everything together for about 5 minutes, allowing the sauce to thicken.

Notes

Use fresh garlic for the best flavor. For thicker sauce, let it simmer longer or add a cornstarch slurry.
